MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Timberwolves have become a hot ticket in the Twin Cities again, and their ticket prices next season will reflect that surge in interest.

The Wolves announced the season-ticket prices for the 2012-13 season, with modest increases on several ticket groups. The team will still have 1,000 tickets in the upper level for $5 each and 6,000 for $10 or less. At least 1,000 in the lower bowl will be available for $20 or less.

The team’s resurgence behind Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio and Rick Adelman has translated to a boom in demand for a franchise that drastically slashed prices over the previous two years to keep fans coming.

They are averaging nearly 2,000 more fans per game this season, the largest jump in the NBA.
