Tigers Stay Alive In Baseball Playoffs

The Detroit Tigers beat the Texas Rangers 7-5 in game 5 of the American League Championship Series Thursday night.  Former Twin Delmon Young hit 2 homeruns and drove in 3 runs on the night.  Justin Verlander allowed 4 earned runs in 7 1/3 innings to get the win for the Tigers.  Texas leads the best of 7 series 3 games to 2.  Game 6 will be in Texas at 7:05 Saturday night.

Milwaukee beat St. Louis 4-2 Thursday night in game 4 of the National League Championship Series in St. Louis.  Randy Wolf got the win and Jerry Haiston had 2 hits and 1 RBI for the Brewers.  The series is tied at 2 games apiece.  Game 5 is in St. Louis at 7:05 tonight.
