The Twins lost 8-4 to the Tigers Tuesday night.  Brian Duensing threw 6 innings with 8 hits and 5 earned runs allowed to take the loss and drop to 2-8.  Josh Willingham hit a 3-run homerun for the Twins.  Willingham now has 30 homeruns setting a new single-season career high.  Ben Revere was 2-5 with a run scored for Minneosta.

Miguel Cabrera was 3-5 with a run scored and 2 RBIs for the Tigers.  Detroit scored 2 runs in the first, 2nd and 9th innings. The Twins are 50-66 this season.

Minnesota and Detroit play the rubber game of the 3-game series at 12:10 this afternoon, pregame on WJON at 11:40.  Righthander Cole DeVries (2-3) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Max Scherzer (11-6) toes the rubber for the Tigers.
