Three Hurt in Sartell Crash Sunday

SARTELL — Three people were hurt after a crash at a Sartell intersection Sunday.

Police were called out to the intersection of 19th Avenue and Stearns County Road 133/6th Street South at about 3:40 p.m. Officers say a witness saw 59-year-old Ilse Barrett of New London heading south on 19th Avenue and failing to stop at the intersection.

Her car collided with another vehicle pulling a tent trailer on County Road 133. The driver of that vehicle, 29-year-old Brad Klein of St. Joseph was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Barrett and a 4-year-old girl in her vehicle were also taken to the hospital for treatment. Police say all three suffered what is believed to be serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Police are forwarding information to the city attorney for possible failure to yield charges.
