BELGRADE -- Three people were hurt in a crash near Belgrade earlier this (Monday) morning.

The incident happened at 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 71 and Highway 55 in Stearns County.

The state patrol says the 48-year-old Jennifer Steenerson of East Bethel was driving west on Highway 55 near Highway 71 when she was struck head on by a car making a left had turn. 88-year-old Alita Lownsbury of Lebanon, Tennessee was turning left to go north onto Highway 71 when she failed to yield the right of way.

Lownsbury, Steenerson and Steenerson's passenger 41-year-old Amy Gaebe of Paynesville were taken to Glacial Ridge Hopsital in Glenwood with non-life threatening injuries.
