ZIMMERMAN -- Three people were hurt when a semi truck hit their car on Highway 169 in Sherburne County. It happened just after 7:00 p.m. last (Wednesday) night.

The State Patrol says a car was eastbound on County Road 74 and was turning on to southbound Highway 169 when the northbound semi hit the car.

The patrol says they received several 911 calls that the semi was driving without headlights.

The driver of the car, 36-year-old Crystal Sweet and her passengers 10-year-old Dashawn Sandoz, and 9-year-old Andrew Sweet, all of Zimmerman suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the semi, 63-year-old Vallerie Neary of Deer River was not hurt.
