Three Farms Added to Stearns County ‘Century Farms’ Program [AUDIO]

UNDATED - The Stearns History Museum has added three more family farms to their "Century Farms" program.

The farms are located near Albany, Getty and St. Joseph.

Program organizer John Decker says any farm considered for the designation needs to meet a few requirements.

Decker says the county now has 432 farms designated as Century Farms - tops in the state.

This is the 35th year of the program through the Stearns History Museum.

The program recognizes the long history of Stearns County farmers as stewards of the land and the tradition of passing down a way of life to family members.
