Three Arrested, One Hurt in Downtown St. Cloud Brawl

ST. CLOUD -- Three people were arrested after a large fight broke out in downtown St. Cloud after bar closing time Saturday night. Police say a group of 15-20 people were fighting on the main level of the Centre Square Parking Ramp at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday.

Additional officers arrived and broke up the melee.

Police arrested 27-year-old Lance Buckingham after he tried to run from the scene. Buckingham was booked on disorderly conduct, fleeing police, and obstruction. He also has multiple felony warrants out of Polk County for fraud.

Police say a 42-year-old St. Cloud man was hurt while trying to intervene in the fight. Multiple people hit and kicked the man causing non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities arrested two people in that assault. Thirty-four-year-old Latrice La-Shaun Clark of St. Cloud was arrested on suspicion of 3rd degree assault. Twenty-four-year-old Denzel Nichols of Minneapolis was cited for 5th degree assault and disorderly conduct.
