Thousands of Dollars in Losses and Vehicle Damage After Diesel Contamination
ST. CLOUD — Someone contaminated diesel fuel at two area gas stations causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in losses and several thousand dollars more in damage to vehicles.
St. Cloud and Waite Park Police are investigating incidents where someone intentionally contaminated the diesel holding tanks at the Lincoln Avenue and Waite Park First Fuel Banks.
It was reported to police Friday.
Police say the diesel was contaminated by someone pouring an unknown substance into the holding tanks.
Several city of St. Cloud vehicles were affected causing thousands of dollars in damage. Private business vehicles were also damaged.

Crimestoppers is offering a $1,000 reward and First Fuel Banks is offering an additional $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
