Thousands Battle Wind, Cold at Brainerd Ice Fishing Contest [VIDEO]

BRAINERD – Anglers had to battle brutal conditions in Brainerd yesterday (Saturday) for the annual Brainerd Jaycees $150,000 Ice Fishing Extravaganza.
The event was held on Gull Lake’s Hold in Day Bay. Money raised from the event goes to various charities.
A cold front swept across the regional in the middle of the contest, bringing with it strong winds and bone chilling cold temperatures.
