ST. CLOUD - Thousands of beer lovers gathered at the Rivers Edge Convention Center in downtown St. Cloud on Saturday for the St. Cloud Craft Beer Tour.

Over 140 beers were available to try from 43 different breweries at the event. Chip Walton with the Summit Brewing Company says many of the beers were seasonal and rare to try.

"I've seen some people busting out some special beers nice and early," Walton says.

The beer tour also gave breweries a chance to see how others enjoyed their product.

"It's always fun to get away from your home-base and see what people outside of your comfort zone think about your beer," Walton says.

To keep things safe after the beer tour, folks from MYride were offering rides home. Significantly cheaper tickets were also being sold to designated drivers.
