Funeral services for Thomas John Sullivan, age 84, will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Foley Nursing Center Chapel. Friends may call an hour prior to the service.

Thomas Sullivan was born April 25, 1930 in Eden Valley, Minnesota to Cornellius and Helen (Brummer) Sullivan. He married Loretta Sebeck. Thomas was born and lived and farmed near Eden Valley. He lived in many places in Minnesota and worked as a custodian for several school districts. He was a handy man and was a kind and friendly person. Tom was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and was the recipient of two Bronze Stars, the Presidential Unit Citation and Korean Service Ribbon. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Mark of Minneapolis; sister, Margaret Wendroth, Watkins and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Loretta; sister, Ann Topp and brothers Henry and George.
