Therese M. Lambert, 102, Avon

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11AM Saturday, January 2, 2016 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Avon for Therese M. Lambert, 102, of Avon who passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community in St. Cloud. Rev. Blane Wasnie, OSB will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the church in Avon. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Avon.

Therese Maria Zwilling was born to the late Nick and Clara (Fruth) in Collegeville, MN. Prior to moving to Avon, she lived in Rockford, IL and Edina, MN. Therese married William Lambert; until his death in 1963. She later married Clyde Billington, who died in 2001.
Therese is survived by her stepdaughter, Patricia Miller of Kansas City, MO; caregivers and nieces, Kay (Zwilling) Schwab of Albany and Joan Zwilling of Avon. Therese is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Matt, John, Al, Joe, and Celestine; sisters, Frances Steichen, Margaret Hoeschen, Sister Berchmans, OSB, Sister Marie Zwilling, OSB, Helen Middendorf; husbands, William Lambert and Clyde Billington.
