Theresa Ann Hetzel, 70, Long Prairie

April 28, 1944 - February 11, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am Monday, February 16, 2015 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Long Prairie, for Theresa A. Hetzel, age 70, of Long Prairie who passed away on Wednesday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Fr. Mark Willenbring will officiate and burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Long Prairie. Family and friends may call from 4-8 pm, Sunday and after 8 am Monday at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home – Stein Chapel, Long Prairie. St. Mary’s Catholic Women will pray the rosary at 4 pm in the funeral home on Sunday.

Theresa Ann Hollermann was born April 28, 1944 in Melrose, Minnesota, the daughter of Norbert and Julia (Hellermann) Hollermann. She grew up on the farm and attended St. Francis School in Little Falls. She worked for a time as a waitress before going to work for Lantz Lens in Long Prairie. Theresa married Gary Hetzel on June 20, 1964 in Swanville. She later was employed at Stearns Manufacturing until her retirement in 2008.

Theresa was a member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter.

She is survived by her husband Gary, Long Prairie; son Craig (Teena) Hetzel, Coon Rapids; granddaughter, Cassondra, Coon Rapids; mother, Julia Hollermann, Long Prairie; brothers and sisters, Mary Geisenhof, Little Falls; Tony (Bonnie) Hollermann, Albertville; Phil Hollermann, Sauk Centre; Carol (Bob) Heath, Aikin; Jane (Ron) Wilkinson, Haywards Heath, England; and Julie (Curt) Alveshere, Becker.

She was preceded in death by her father, and son Ronald.
