Theodore 'Ted' Pollard, age 87, of Foley passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Duelm. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM Monday evening at Foley Funeral Home with Parish Prayers at 5 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Theodore Joseph Pollard was born May 20, 1927 in St. George Township, Benton County to Joseph and Rose (Halfman) Pollard. He married Betty Stoneberg on August 17, 1948 in Reno, NV. The couple made their home farming in St. George Township. Betty passed away in 1999 after they celebrated 51 years of marriage. Ted married Phyllis Stay on February 16, 2005 in Flandreau, South Dakota. Ted was a dedicated worker at Electrolux for nearly 40 years. He was a member of the Foley American Legion and volunteered with the Foley Area C.A.R.E.. He enjoyed reading, puzzles, playing dice, fishing, hunting, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family telling stories.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis of Foley; children: Rose Pollard of St. Cloud, Lois Pollard-Hawkinson of Sauk Rapids, Louise Crowe of Foley, Ted K. Pollard of Foley, David (Marcy) Pollard of Clear Lake, Kathy (Mike) Woolard of Princeton, Jeff Wellman of Princeton, John Wellman of Holdingford, Kim Wellman Pappenfus of Becker, Fred (Paulette) Parker of Deer River; 31 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Bill (Margaret) Pollard of Mound. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Betty; infant son, Joey; sons, Victor Pollard and James Wellman; son-in-laws, Art Crowe and Tom Hawkinson; granddaughters, Dakota Parker and Tracy Wellman; brothers, Felix, Leonard and Lester; and sister, Dorothy Swalboski.
