    Blue-Eyed Soul

    Pioneer Place

    The Pioneer Place kicks off another weekend of one of a kind entertainment with their show Blue-Eyed Soul. The performance features songs from artist like Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers, Little River Band, and more! These songs just stick with you make you put on your leisure suit and dance. Songs are performed by the Fabulous Armadillos tonight (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) starting at 7:30 p.m. for a night you won't forget. Tickets for the show are $37.00 and are going fast.

    We Banjo 3

    Paramount Theatre

    You can enjoy the sounds of a group of musicians from Ireland this weekend at the Paramount Theatre. The young, award-winning group known as We Banjo 3 will be performing on the theatre stage tomorrow (Friday). They have performed for presidents and prime ministers and kings and queens in every part of the globe. Tickets for the show are $17 or $5 for students. Show starts at 7:30 p.m.

    Cultural Cafe Film Festival: Selma

    St. Cloud Hospital Hoppe Auditorium

    CentraCare Health's Cultural Cafe Film Festival is back again with another wonderful feature. The St. Cloud Hospital Hoppe Auditorium will showcase "Selma" which tells the true story of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the campaign he led. Immediately after the film there will be a door prize drawing. Showtime starts at 5:30 p.m.

    Manual Cinema

    Collegeville

    Enjoy a mesmerizing hybrid of cinema and live stage show this weekend at the SJU Stephen B. Humphrey Theater. Manual Cinema uses the medium of shadow puppetry to create surreal stories. The show is about twin sisters Ada and Ava who have lived their whole lives together until, suddenly, Ava dies. Featuring more than 300 paper puppets manipulated by five puppeteers and three musicians performing an original, visually stunning story brought to life. Tickets for the show are $22 for general admission. The performance begins Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

    Sons of Norway Barnelopt

    The 10th Annual Sons of Norway Barnelopet will be held Sunday at Riverside Park. It's a free kids fun Nordic ski event for ages 3-13.  Cross country ski equipment for kids will be provided by the Minnesota Youth Ski League, if needed. Participants are encouraged to come any time after 11:00 a.m. to have some practice time. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served. On-site registration available at 11:30 a.m., but registration forms can be mailed in earlier. There will also be youth races starting at 1:00 p.m. with prizes to all participants! The event goes from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
