    St. Cloud Rox Home Opener

    Get ready for some rock solid fun this weekend as the St. Cloud Rox host their home opener Friday night. The team will take on the Rochester Honkers starting at 7:05 p.m. Along with the game there is several fun events leading up to first pitch including a free magnet schedule for the 1st 1,000 fans, former Minnesota Twin and World Series Champion Tom Brunansky will be throwing out the first pitch and of course post game fireworks. Tickets are just $20 at the gate. First pitch at 7:05 p.m.

    Music in the Park: Rockin Hollywoods

    Big Lake

    The first of long line of summer concert series in Big Lake kicks off tonight (Thursday). Lakeside Park is holding their Music in the Park concert series. This week will feature the Rockin' Hollywoods. The group performs a high energy show full of excitement that will grab the attention of audiences of all ages. The show runs from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and is free to attend.

    Minnesota Homegrown Kickoff

    El Rancho Manana

    The sounds of bluegrass music will echo throughout the El Rancho Manana campground this weekend. The facility is hold their Minnesota Homegrown Kickoff which is three-days of outdoor music and camping with twenty regional groups performing bluegrass, old-time stringband and other acoustics. Tickets are $55 for weekend camping or $20 for daily visits. The music gets underway at 6:00 p.m. Friday night.

    The Music of Meatloaf

    After selling out this show last year, Grant Haake is back bringing you the entire Bat Out of Hell album and many more favorites of Meat Loaf. The Fifth Avenue Reviews The Music of Meatloaf is a show that continues to rock audiences with some of the most iconic music the Rock and Roll group has to offer. Haake will even been joined by several special guest to really make the night one to remember. Tickets for the show are $28 in advance and $32 at the door. The music starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night.

    Open Mic Night

    Little Falls

    Think you have what it takes to entertain a live audience? Get your 15 minutes of fame on the Great River Arts stage in Little Falls with Open Mic Night. Each contestant is given 15 minutes to perform either music, comedy, magic or any other type of performance you can imagine. Acts are asked to keep the performance PG-13 as this is a family friendly event. Sign up starts at 6:00 p.m. tonight (Thursday) with the show starting at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. It's free to try.
