    The Music of Joe Jackson and Elvis Costello

    It's a big weekend for music at Pioneer Place this weekend. Muggsy Lauer and Nathan Nesje will bring to the stage the music of two legends Joe Jackson and Elvis Costello starting tomorrow (Friday). Jackson is an English musician and singer-songwriter and has recorded 19 studio albums and received 5 Grammy nominations in a career. Singer/songwriter Elvis Costello has recorded with numerous musicians, including icons Paul McCartney and Burt Bacharach. Tickets for the show are $22 in advance and $25 at the door. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

    The Hamaan Sisters: Intro to Two-Piano Music

    Paramount Theatre

    Enjoy the magnificent world of music written specifically for two pianos this weekend at the Paramount Theatre. Sisters Amy and Sara Hamaan kick off the theatres 101 concert series Sunday.  Amy and Sara made their professional debut at the Fitzgerald Theater in Saint Paul and have been featured artists with the Minnesota Orchestra. Tickets are free, however you're asked to call the Box Office to reserve your seats. Show time starts at 3:00 p.m.

    Company Northcrest Presents Masterpiece

    Paramount Theatre

    You can check area dancers this weekend performing on the Paramount Theatre stage. Company North Crest presents an exciting dance performance called Masterpiece. The show features dancers ages 5-18 performing routines celebrating different art forms such as animation, painting and music. Tickets for the show are $14 for ages 13 and up, $9 for ages 6-12 and $5 for ages 0-5. Show start Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

    The Jimmy's and The Dee Miller Band

    Get ready to dance the night away at Medina Entertainment Center this weekend. The Jimmy's and the Dee Miller Band will be taking the stage tomorrow (Friday) night. The Jimmy's have been tearing up stages with their blend of blues, soul, funk and R&B for nearly 10 years. Dee Miller's vocals get the crowds attention from her first note as she betls out her style mix of barrelhouse,Delta and Chicago blues. Tickets for the show are $10 at the door. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. music starts at 7:30 p.m.

Dan Witte and Janelle Kendall pick up their guitars and play to the tunes of Santana, Sheryl Crow and Sting. Enjoy some fresh takes on current and recent folksy, jazzy or countrified favorites. The show is free to attend and begins at 9:00 p.m.
