HOW MUCH TROUBLE CAN INSTALLING A NEW DRYER BE?

So the dryer has been slowly fading away. It doesn't always work when you shut the door, but more recently, it just sort of stopped heating up. After not being able to get it to work at all on Saturday, Bob and I decided that it was time to say goodbye old dryer, hello new one. How much trouble could getting a new dryer be anyway? Maybe you should ask my Dad, Dennis Cordes Sr.  He's always getting brought in on the fix up everything at our new house.  We happened to get very lucky. Bob and I stopped by Sears in St. Cloud after attending the Rox game.  Lucky for us, there was ONE gas dryer in store...on clearance...for a great price!  Done.  All we have to do is get it in the house, hook it up, and we're ready to roll right?

MOVING MOUNTAINS

We first had to get the old dryer out. I think the house was built around the dryer, because there was no way that dryer was leaving through the door. My Dad started taking off pieces of the back of the old dryer to get it through our doorway but it wasn't going to go. On top of that, if the old dryer wasn't coming out on it's own...was the new dryer going to come in? About an hour later, we had to take off the whole door frame.

So we just keep creating more jobs for my great Dad to help with. You'll notice the large Kennel that the doorway pieces are laying?  Oh yes...that was another project for my dad. Our new puppy Sampson is a Great Dane, and he's going to be about 180 pounds. Big Dogs need big kennels..It looks like we're going to be keeping King Kong in our basement. With Father's Day coming up, I think I owe him...BIG TIME!
