The Driver Of A Minivan was Hurt After Colliding Head-On With A Combine

CLEAR LAKE TOWNSHIP – A Clear Lake man is in fair condition after crashing his minivan into a combine.

The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Department says the incident happened at about 1:30 p.m. on Saturday on County Road 8 in Clear Lake Township.

Eighty-seven-year-old John Podany was heading east, while the combine, driven by 37-year-old Nathan Tesmer of Clear Lake, was heading west on the shoulder of the road.  When the two vehicles met the struck partially head on.

Podany was airlifted to HCMC.

Tesmer was not hurt.
