The Demolition of the Former Verso Paper Mill Has Begun
SARTELL - Demolition crews have begun the process of tearing down the former Verso Paper Mill site.
Last month the Sartell City Council granted the new owners AIM Development a Interim Use Permit for the demo work.
Company officials say they are starting on the far northern end of the site. They also plan to separate the hydroelectric plant from the mill. Between 35 and 40 workers will be on the site each day. The demolition work will be done between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., seven days a week, year round, for about the next 15 months.
