Bob’s Show Notes: The Christmas Closet Cleanout Has Begun

Charlie Brown Christmas TreeLast Friday, Jerry Carlson and I went to the St. Paul Ice Show to look up some old friends and drool over the newest ice fishing gear.   Jason Mitchell told me the story of the first time he fell through the ice while duck hunting, and Dave Genz ran through the “must haves” for every ice angler before he/she hits the hardwater.  Be listening for those conversations to hit the air soon.

‘Tis the season of giving and we have some great Christmas gifts for you — or — if you’d like,  RE-GIFT ‘em:

– Thanks to McDonald’s Meats, we have 15 – $35.00 gift cards,
– There is great music from Mannheim Steamroller,
– Christmas books from Tom Hegg and others at Tristan Publishing.

And all you have to do to win is know the answer when we play Christmas Trivia!  It happens throughout the day with Jay, Dick, and me, so be listening for your chance to call in.

I spoke with Ross Bernstein about his new book, “Raising Stanley”, which is a salute to all the Minnesota hockey players that have played on teams that have won the Stanley Cup.   It is really quite a good gift to any hocky afficionado in the family and is available at all the major bookstores as well as online at BernsteinBooks.com.

Tomorrow brings another Two Cent Tuesday, so be ready to call up and toss in your two cents on whatever you like!
