The 8th Annual Give Kids A Smile Day Kicks Off Tomorrow

ST. CLOUD -- The 8th Annual Give Kids a Smile Day kicks off tomorrow (Saturday) at the St. Cloud Technical and Community College.

Kids ages three through 17 who don't have access to dental care can  receive free treatments at the Tech College's dental clinic.

Last year the clinic had more than 40 appointments. Five faculty and about 30 dental hygiene and assisting students will be on-hand cleaning teeth.

Institutional Advancement Director, Heidi Everett says seeing kids leave the dental clinic with smiles on their face is why they continue to host the program.

Their efforts are part of the 11th annual American Dental Association's Give Kids A Smile program.
