Texan Gets Nearly 20 Years For Enticing Rochester Girl

HOUSTON (AP) - A Houston-area man must serve nearly 20 years in prison for enticing a 9-year-old Minnesota girl he met online into posing nude and email him the photo.

A federal judge in Houston on Thursday sentenced 33-year-old Steve Correa-Franco of Spring. Correa-Franco in December pleaded guilty to enticement of a child and possession of child pornography.

Police in Rochester, Minn., last April responded to a father's complaint about his daughter chatting online with someone believed to be a 16-year-old boy.

Investigators determined the person was Correa-Franco, who talked chatted about wanting to have sex with the girl and asked for a naked photo. Police say she used a game system to snap the nude picture.

Correa-Franco's laptop computer contained the Minnesota girl's photo and more than 200 other child porn images.
