Sunday Forecast: Blizzard Warning For Stearns County, Winter Weather Advisory in Benton And Sherburne

UNDATED - The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning for parts of central Minnesota, including Stearns county, on Sunday. Benton and Sherburne counties are in a Winter Weather Advisory.

Blizzard conditions will set in this afternoon from western into southern Minnesota as another strong arctic cold front blasts across the area.

Wind gusts to as high as 55 mph will create widespread whiteout conditions across the blizzard warning area. From eastern Minnesota into western Wisconsin, winds gusting to 40 mph will create plenty of blowing and drifting snow as well, just not the blizzard conditions like farther west.

After today, it's back into the deep freeze through Tuesday night.
