Teenager Hurt in ATV Crash in St. Martin Township

ST. MARTIN TOWNSHIP - The Stearns County Sheriff's Department responded to a collision between two ATVs.

The incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday in St. Martin Township.

16-year-old Mitchell Funk of Melrose was following 15-year-old Benjamin Blonigen of Freeport.  Blonigen stopped and Funk collided with him.  Funk's ATV rolled several times.  He was brought to Melrose hospital by family members and treated for minor injuries.

The boys were not wearing helmets.
