BROOTEN – A teenage driver was hurt when she drove her car into the ditch.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Department says the incident happened just before 10:00 p.m. last (Sunday) night on Highway 55 in Brooten.

Seventeen-year-old Marissa Quade of Brooten was crossing the highway, and tried to enter RJ’s Mini Mart parking lot, when she missed the entrance and went into the ditch.  Quade was taken to Glenwood Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
