MORRISON COUNTY - A 17-year-old girl was hurt while she was tubing on a Morrison County Lake on Friday.

The incident happened on Lake Shamineau just before 1:30 p.m.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says the 17-year-old was being pulled behind a boat when the tube flipped over.

She complained of back pain and was taken by ambulance to Staples Hospital.

The teen was wearing a floatation device at the time of the incident. The Sheriff's Office was helped at the scene by the Scandia Valley First Response Team, Scandia Valley Fire Department, Gold Cross Ambulance and North Air Care.
