Tears, Laughter Shared at Vigil in Honor of Officer Tom Decker [AUDIO]

COLD SPRING – The residents of Cold Spring began the healing process tonight (Monday) with a candlelight vigil. Community members gathered outside of Wenner’s Funeral Home to sing, pray, and remember officer Tom Decker.
Lisa Stukey organized the event.

Stukey says she didn’t know officer Decker well, but he made an impression on her about a year ago when she thought she had an intruder in her home.

Visitation for Decker is scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon at 4:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the St. John’s Abbey and University Church in Collegeville.
Officer Tom Decker was shot and killed late Thursday night while responding to a welfare check. Thirty-four-year old Ryan Larson has been arrested in the case. Charges may come tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.
