COLD SPRING - A piece of Cold Spring history is coming crashing down today (Thursday).

The former ROCORI Middle School -- which was the original St. Boniface High School -- is being torn down.

The building was constructed in 1926 by the St. Boniface Parish.  At the time it was considered quite the spectacle with a gym, auditorium with stage, and even a bowling alley in the basement.  The last class graduated from the St. Boniface High School in 1968.

The building was sold to the ROCORI school district in 1974.  It has been used as the district's middle school through this past school year.

ROCORI will have a brand new middle school starting this fall.

Officials say the entire demolition could take a few weeks.
