ST. PAUL (AP) — Another student assault on a teacher is reported at a St. Paul school.

Police say a teacher at Johnson High School reported being struck in the head from behind earlier this month while trying to break up a fight between two students.

A police spokesman says the teacher had separated two teenage girls who were fighting when he was hit by a 16-year-old boy who was not involved in the fight.

The boy denied hitting the teacher but said he did not like how the teacher had been treating the two girls.

The teacher was not hurt. No one has been charged.

It is the latest in a string of cases of St. Paul teachers reporting being hit by students.
