Tax Preparation Event Held for Low Income Workers

ST. CLOUD -- The IRS is holding a tax preparation event for people who work but have lower incomes.

The three-day event is by appointment only and will help eligible taxpayers take advantage of the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit. The IRS says one in five eligible workers don't claim the tax credit.

The tax preparation event will take place at the Salvation Army in St. Cloud along Highway 10 tomorrow through Sunday.

Bring all your tax information, Social Security cards for you and dependents and a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license.
