ST. CLOUD — The St. Cloud Economic Development Authority will consider some tax incentives for a German manufacturing company that plans to create a plant here.

Geringhoff is agreeing to creating a minimum of 100 jobs and is seeking $500-thousand from the Minnesota Investment Loan Fund and other JOBZ benefits.

EDA Executive Director Cathy Mehelich says when they were recruiting Geringhoff, tax incentives were part of the sales pitch.  In the end, Mehelich says Geringhoff picked St. Cloud because of its workforce and supply capabilities.

The St. Cloud EDA will hold a special meeting Monday at 11:30 a.m. to discuss tax incentives.
