Today, Cindy and John Fuls, parents of Tanner John Fuls, were in the studio talking about Tanner's Team Foundation, a foundation that was set up to assist families  financially that have children that are facing life threatening illnesses.

So far, Tanner's Team Foundation has already helped 46 families in  the Central Minnesota area, within a 60 mile radius of St. Cloud.  The foundation accepts applications for those facing life threatening diagnosis.  They then proceed by sending out proposals of what they think they can help pay for the family, from mortgages and car payments, to transportation and household expenses.  The applications are voted on, and payments are made directly to the loans for the family, never directly to the families.

Tanner's Team Foundation has a variety of events that take place throughout the year, including  a 5K/1K event coming up June 21st, starting at 8:30am, with registration information available at tannersteam.org.

Coming up on March 16th from 4 to 6pm, there will be a spaghetti dinner, at Rolllie's in Sauk Rapids.  Tickets for adults are $7, $4 for children ages 2 through 12, and free for children under 2 years of age.  There will be a silent auction, Tanner's Team Apparel Sales, Quilt Raffle, and Live music.

In honor of Tanner's 15th birthday, everyone is encouraged to bring a toy or game.  All gifts will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.  Birthday cake will be served for dessert.

If you would like ticket information, you can contact John or Cindy Fuls at 320-761-0962 or by email at tannersteamfoundation@gmail.com.
