Talahi Second Graders All Getting ipads [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD – Every second grader at St. Cloud’s Talahi elementary is getting their own ipad.  Grant money has been used to buy ipads for the 95 students, and eight staff members.

Talahi Media Specialist Sara Martini says it’s the first time District 742 has had this type of technology for individual students.

Martini says the second graders will use their ipads all day every day, but they won’t be able to take them home with them.  The ipads are part of the school’s STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math – initiative.
