A 28-year-old Waite Park man has been arrested after he allegedly pointed a gun at two people in a car. Waite Park Police say the incident happened at about 5:30 p.m. yesterday (Tuesday) at the corner of 2nd Street and Waite Avenue South.
The Waite Park police department is investigating a pair of daytime residential burglaries. The first one happened sometime Friday in the 1100 block of Ashwood Court. The second incident was on Sunday in the 2100 block of County Road 6.
A Waite Park man who admitted to trying to kill his wife has been sentenced to more than 14 years in prison. 44-year-old Joseph Benson had earlier pleaded guilty to first degree attempted murder stemming from the August 2011 incident.
