Benton County Portion of Paper Mill Sold for $11.5 Million

We're learning more about the sale of the former Verso Paper Mill today (Thursday). The Benton County Auditor-Treasurer Kari Thorston says American Iron and Metal paid just over $11.5 million for the property on the east side of the Mississippi River.

OSHA Cites Verso for Two Violations, Closes Investigation [AUDIO]

The Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Administration has closed its investigation into the explosion and fire at the Verso Paper Mill. OSHA cited Verso for two serious citations. They were fined a total of $39,200, which the company did not contest and paid.
