The family of Tyler Berg is confirming that is was his body found near Monticello on Sunday. The family made the confirmation on a Go Fund Me page, set up to help his family.

Authorities say a body was found along I-94 earlier this (Sunday) afternoon. Wright County Sheriff Joe Hagerty says at about 2:30 p.m. volunteers searching along Dalton Avenue found what was believed to be the body of an adult male.

Searchers have been using a helicopter, ATVs and horses in the search for a missing college student in Monticello.

The family of Tyler Berg and the Wright County Sheriff’s Office are asking for volunteers to be part of a foot search tomorrow (Friday) in and around the Monticello area. The Monticello Community Center will be designated as the Volunteer Support Center. All Volunteers will need to register at this location starting at 9:30 am on Friday.
