St. Cloud scored 4 runs in the 4th inning, had 2 runs in the 6th inning and chipped in 3 more runs in the 7th. Tony Skjefte was 3-6 with a homerun, 2 runs scored and 3 RBIs and Phil Imholte hit a 2-run homerun and had 3 RBIs for the Rox. Chris Paul added 2 hits and 2 RBIs for St. Cloud.

The game started an hour late due to soggy field conditions after rain moved through central Minnesota Wednesday morning. St. Cloud went out to a 3-0 lead but Willmar came back with a 3-run 6th inning to take the lead. Tony Skjefte went 2-3 with 2 RBIs, Ty Jackson hit a 2-run homerun and Chris Paul was 2-4 with 1 run scored for the Rox. Tadd Johansen threw 6 innings with 10 hits and 4 earned runs allowed. Sergio Luna allowed 1 earned run in 2 innings to take the loss.
