Ted Mondale has been named chief executive of the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority. The authority hired Mondale on Friday during the group's first meeting, as it takes steps toward building the $975 million Vikings stadium.

Dayton Won't Have Radio Show; All Bids Rejected

Gov. Mark Dayton won't have a weekly radio show after rejecting all proposals to air the show. The Democratic governor released the rejected bids Tuesday, showing that WCCO-AM, the flagship carrier for shows by former Govs. Tim Pawlenty and Jesse Ventura, offered Dayton a 7 a.m. Saturday slot instead of 9 a.m. Fridays.

Repair Or Replace Metrodome Roof? Decision Coming

The commission that oversees the Metrodome is getting ready to decide whether to replace its damaged roof entirely or just replace torn parts of it. The Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission meets Thursday to hear from engineers who have been assessing the damage since the roof collapsed in a blizzard in December.
