High School Football Week 4; Tech at Sauk Rapids-Rice [Predictions]

The High School football regular season will be half over after this weekend. The week 4 schedule includes St. Cloud Tech playing at Sauk Rapids-Rice at 7pm. The game is a "Tackle Cancer" game with opportunities to contribute to the battle against Cancer. Randy Shaver of KARE 11 and the Minnesota High School football coaches have gotten together to help fight cancer.

Tech To Play Home Games At SCSU; Mold at Clarke

The Tech football team will play home games this season at St. Cloud State's Husky Stadium. Tech head coach Gregg Martig told Emmett Keenan on St. Cloud Sports Saturday on AM 1390-the Fan that large amounts of mold was detected in both the locker rooms and concession stands at Clarke Field. A decision has been made by the school district to play away from Clarke Field this season.

High School Football Practice Starts

High School football practice began in the St. Cloud area Monday. Sartell-St. Stephen has a new head coach, Scott Hentges, Justin Skalerud returns as the Apollo head coach, Gregg Martig is back at Tech, Dean Taylor returns at Cathedral, and Bill Magnuson is back at Sauk Rapids-Rice. Mike Rowe is back as Rocori begins defense of the Class 4A title.
