The Baltimore Ravens jumped out to a huge early lead then weathered a comeback attempt to defeat the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 at the Superdome in New Orleans Sunday night. Baltimore wide receiver Jacoby Jones set an NFL record with a 108-yard kickoff return and also had a 52-yard touchdown catch in the game

It was the biggest stage ever for a dance costume designer from Minnesota. The lighted, silver-hooded unitard costume wore by dancers backing up the Black Eyed Peas in the Super Bowl halftime show were designed and made by Just For Kix in the small Crow Wing County community of Baxter.

DWI Patrols Stepped Up Over Super Bowl Weekend

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety says there will be added officers on the road over Super Bowl weekend, in search of drunken drivers. Authorities say more than 1,400 motorists were arrested for drunken driving during Super Bowl weekends from 2007 through 2009.
