Someone is stealing gas cans and batteries off boats in St. Wendel Township. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says they've received several complaints over the past couple of days.

No one was hurt this (Tuesday) morning, when a car slammed into a Holdingford convenience store. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says the incident happened at about 9:30 a.m. at the Holdingford Gas & Grocery.

A 71-year-old Rice woman was hurt in a crash this (Friday) morning. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says Jeanette Fiedler was driving on County 2 south of St. Stephen at about 8:30 a.m.

Two people and their dogs escaped injury in an early morning house fire. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says the fire started just before 1:00 a.m. this (Tuesday) morning two miles north of St. Joseph in St. Wendel Township.

A 27-year-old St. Joseph man was struck by a car while riding his bike. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says the incident happened just before 9:00 p.m. last (Tuesday) evening on County Road 2 in St. Joseph Township.

A barn near Paynesville burned to the ground early this (Wednesday) morning. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says a neighbor spotted the fire and woke-up the homeowner Scott Klehr.

There were no injuries in a crash involving a school bus. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says the incident happened at about 7:50 a.m. yesterday (Tuesday) on County Road 44 in Fairhaven Township.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department has released the name of the young man killed in a farm accident.
