Stearns County has offered the open Administrator position to St. Cloud City Administrator Mike Williams. The Board of Commissioners interviewed the four final candidates last week, and they met last (Monday) night to discuss the position and directed staff to offer the job to Williams.
Stearns County has narrowed its list of candidates for County Administrator to four. There were 24 initial applicatants. Nine of those candidates received interviews, with the panel recommending four candidates advance as finalists.
Longtime Stearns County Administrator George Rindelaub is retiring. The University of Wisconsin-Madison alum has been Stearns County Administrator for 28 years. He announced today (Tuesday) that his last day will be March 31st.
