The State Patrol has released the name of the man killed in a crash on Highway 15 near Kimball. They say 28-year-old Randolph Alamo of Watkins was killed in the collision with a semi at about 2:00 p.m. yesterday (Tuesday) near Lake Carnelian.

The cameras are mostly in the Twin Cities, with a handful watching traffic in Duluth, Rochester and St. Cloud.

Authorities say alcohol and speed may have been factors in a Brooklyn Center crash that killed two people. State Patrol spokesman Lt. Eric Roeske says witnesses say the car was moving at very high speed when it blew through a red light at Highway 100 and 57th Street, broadsiding another car and killing the two people inside just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
