The State Patrol has released the name of the man killed in a crash on Highway 15 near Kimball. They say 28-year-old Randolph Alamo of Watkins was killed in the collision with a semi at about 2:00 p.m. yesterday (Tuesday) near Lake Carnelian.

Cell-Phone Users Urged To Turn In Drunken Drivers

he Minnesota State Patrol is urging cell-phone users to report drunken drivers they spot on the road. Minnesota's Department of Transportation maintains a traffic video network of about 500 cameras. The cameras are mostly in the Twin Cities, with a handful watching traffic in Duluth, Rochester and St. Cloud.

A four-vehicle crash near Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport has left one person dead and eight others injured. Authorities say a sport utility vehicle veered into oncoming traffic late Thursday morning, struck another SUV head-on, and then collided with two more vehicles.

The Winter Storm Warning continues until 7:00 tonight and the heavy snowfall is making it difficult for plows to keep the roads clear. Law enforcement is dealing with some cars off the road, but so far no reports of serious crashes.

2 Killed In Broadside Crash In Brooklyn Center

Authorities say alcohol and speed may have been factors in a Brooklyn Center crash that killed two people. State Patrol spokesman Lt. Eric Roeske says witnesses say the car was moving at very high speed when it blew through a red light at Highway 100 and 57th Street, broadsiding another car and killing the two people inside just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
