The St. Cloud VA Health Care System is adding staff members. They've hired six full-time and two part-time workers in their mental health department. The new staff are part of the additional 1,600 new mental health professionals system-wide through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Veterans in need of legal advice can attend a free clinic tomorrow (Tuesday) at the St. Cloud VA Healthcare System. Legal consultants will be available for topics such as housing, child support, employment and family law.
A ceremony honoring Minnesota's former Prisoners of War will be held tomorrow (Friday) in St. Cloud. The event will start at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System. More than 30 former POWs will be recognized.
The St. Cloud VA Health Care System wants veterans to know in case of a government shutdown, they will continue to provide health care services. If an agreement isn't reached in Congress, the government will shutdown at midnight.
