Enrollment at SCSU Down 4 1/2 Percent

Enrollment at St. Cloud State University is down 4 1/2 percent this year. That's about 775 fewer students than last year. The numbers were released today (Wednesday) by the university.

Holocaust Survivor Shares Her Story at SCSU

A survivor of the Holocaust shared her amazing story of survival, and forgiveness, this (Thursday) evening at St. Cloud State University's Ritsche Auditorium. A standing-room-only crowd heard Eva Kor talk about how she and her twin sister, Miriam, were pulled apart from their mother on the selection platform at Auschwitz in 1944.

SCSU President One of Highest Paid State Employees

The recently retired chancellor of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system was the state's highest-paid employee in fiscal year 2012. The rest of the top ten includes two college presidents: Minnesota State University, Mankato president Richard Davenport earned $304,514; and St. Cloud State University President Earl Potter made $303,263.

SCSU Gets Money for New X-Ray Machine for ISELF

St. Cloud State University's ISELF building is still under construction, but they're already getting their first piece of equipment for the facility. St. Cloud State will receive $120,000 in state funds to help buy an X-ray diffractometer valued at more than $365,000.
