SCSU Men’s Hockey Falls 4-2 at New Hampshire

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team was swept at New Hampshire this weekend falling 4-2 on Saturday night. SCSU tied the game at 1 apiece in the first period with a goal from Kevin Gravel. New Hampshire took a 2-1 lead in the 2nd when Joey Holka scored a goal for the Huskies to tie the game. New Hampshire took a 3-2 lead in the 2nd period and added a goal in the 3rd.

SCSU Hockey Falls In WCHA Final Five

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team lost 4-1 to North Dakota in the WCHA Final Five at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul Thursday night. Ben Hanowski scored the lone SCSU goal in the 1st period to tie the game at 1 before North Dakota got the game-winner from Brock Nelson in the 2nd period. Mike Lee had 24 saves in net for the Huskies.

SCSU Hockey Falls 3-1 At Colorado College

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team lost 3-1 at Colorado College Friday night. CC took a 2-0 lead before SCSU Nick Jensen scored the lone Husky goal. Ryan Faragher had 23 saves for St. Cloud State. The Huskies are 8-11-4 and 5-7-3 in the WCHA.

Weekend Recap: SCSU Hockey Earns Just 1 Point

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team managed just 1 point in the home weekend series with Bemidji State at the National Hockey Center. SCSU tied Bemidji State 6-6 in overtime Friday night but lost 3-1 to the Beavers on Saturday night. St. Cloud State is 6-8-4 overall and 4-5-3 in the WCHA. The Huskies will host Denver December 16-17.

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team will play at Minnesota State-Mankato tonight at 7:37 and tomorrow night at 7:07. The Huskies are 4-4-2 overall and are coming off a weekend where they took 3 out of a possible 4 points from Wisconsin. MSU-Mankato is 2-6 this season.

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team won their home opener 7-5 over New Hampshire Friday night to improve to 2-3 on the season. SCSU scored 3 unanswered goals in the 2nd period to take control of the game. Ben Hanowski and Drew LeBlanc each had 4 point nights for the Huskies.

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team signed 2 players on the first day of the late signing period Wednesday. The Huskies signed forward Jonny Brodzinski of Blaine and forward David Morley of Richmond Hills, Ontario to WCHA and National Letters of intent.

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team is losing big defenseman Oliver Lauridsen. He signed an entry level pro contract with the Philadelphia Flyers forgoing his senior season of eligibility with St. Cloud State. He had 1 goal and 8 assists this season for SCSU.

SCSU Wrestling Finishes 2nd, Hockey Season Over

The St. Cloud State wrestling team earned 2nd place in the NCAA Division II meet in Kearney, Nebraska. The tournament finished Saturday. The SCSU men's hockey team lost 4-2 and 3-2 in triple-overtime to Minnesota-Duluth in the first round of the WCHA tournament over the weekend.

SCSU Hockey Falls 4-2 At UMD In WCHA Playoffs

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team lost 4-2 at Minnesota-Duluth in the first round of the WCHA playoffs Friday night. The win for UMD gives them a 1 game to none lead in the best of 3 series with the Huskies. UMD scored 2 goals in the 2nd period and led 3-1 after 2. Jared Festler and David Eddy each scored a goal for the Huskies and Mike Lee had 26 saves.
