The St. Cloud State men's hockey team is ranked #15 this week in the USCHO.com Division I poll and #15 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Division I Polls. SCSU was ranked #15 in the USCHO.com poll last week and is entering the USA Today/USA Hockey poll this week. The Huskies split with #6 North Dakota at home last weekend and are 6-4-0 this season.

North Dakota defeated the St. Cloud State men's hockey team 3-0 Friday night in the first game of a weekend series. UND scored a goal in each period and Clarke Saunders earned the shutout in net for North Dakota with 32 save. Ryan Faragher had 23 saves for the Huskies.

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team will play without one of their top players Ben Hanowski this week against 6th ranked North Dakota. Hanowski took a hard hit against Minnesota State-Mankato on October 27. Hanowski's injury has not been disclosed and he was re-evaluated this week. Head coach Bob Motzko wouldn't disclose the injury but it's suspected to be head related.
